Megan Dwyer is a Licensed Master Social Worker and a graduate of NYU. Megan began at LICADD as an intern. Throughout her internship she conducted assessments and delivered short term psychoeducation counseling, provided group services in the Riverhead Correctional Facility, presented to schools all over Long Island with our Student Assistance Program team, and worked diligently with a team to raise a record breaking combination of gifts & monetary donations for our BUDDY Mentor Program’s Annual Gift Drive. LICADD’s mission aligned so well with her own values, and now Megan is very enthusiastic and eager to be a part of Open Arms EAP.
Ms. Dwyer is excited to use her skills to help workers on Long Island reach their full potential. Megan uses her own experience and interests to add a more personal touch and connection with her clients in this field. She specializes in Motivational Interviewing, SBIRT, and practices from a strengths-based solution-focused perspective. Her versatility, enthusiasm, and overall passion helps her in building and maintaining relationships in our communities!
