It is absolutely possible to de-escalate anyone at any time, place or in any situation. This workshop will identify principles that form the basis of effective techniques in mastering the art and science of crisis interventions and de-escalation. Participants will learn how to establish positive interactions and rapport, avoid roadblocks while communicating with individuals in crisis, and learning how their reaction determines the effectiveness to manage the situation.
