It is absolutely possible to de-escalate anyone at any time, place or in any situation. This workshop will identify principles that form the basis of effective techniques in mastering the art and science of crisis interventions and de-escalation. Participants will learn how to establish positive interactions and rapport, avoid roadblocks while communicating with individuals in crisis, and learning how their reaction determines the effectiveness to manage the situation.

When registering, please be sure to include NYS Social Work or Mental Health License Number.
If this information does not apply to you, please put “n/a” in provided space.

CEU Certificates will be provided at the conclusion of the workshop as long as you were pre-registered for the training. Participants that register at the door will receive their certificates via email 2 weeks after the conclusion of the training.

As per the NYSED, participants must be present for the entire workshop in order to receive CEU credits.
