Everyday on Long Island there are over 300,000 individuals struggling with the effects of the disease of alcoholism and other drug addictions and over 170,000 children live with an addictive parent.

LICADD provides programs to directly help these families and individuals. There are many ways that you can help LICADD stay in the business of saving lives. LICADD is pleased to continue its Commemorative Gift Card Program. Commemorative gift cards are a living tribute – a very special way to acknowledge someone significant to you. Simultaneously, they assist the Council in providing services to those in need. An ‘In Memory Of’ gift card is a lasting tribute to a loved one who has passed away. An ‘In Honor Of’ gift card commemorates a birthday, holiday, anniversary, graduation or other special occasion. An individualized acknowledgement card is sent from the Council on your behalf (without noting the donated amount). Commemorative gifts are 100% tax deductible.
